Coach Eric Parker believed both Utica College’s men’s and women’s cross country teams can win conference titles this season, after a good run in regionals last season. The teams now aim to be in the top 15 next season in the Atlantic Region.

“Both men and women have a real legitimate shot to win a conference title,” Parker said. “As for regionals, we’re looking to get those top 15 in the Atlantic region. Those are very attainable with the athletes that we have, both fresh faces as well as returners that have put in the work, put in the commitment over the summer and really develop.”

The men’s team consists of athletes such as Tyler Wright, Brian Attas, Nick Ashton, Liam Rodgers, Daniel Block and more striving to win a championship this season. As for the women’s team, Kaitlyn Stinson did really well last year and the team is excited to see her in action this season.

“We’re really excited, we have a lot back, really good athletes from last year and we have some really good kids come in, so this should be one of our best years ever for Utica cross country,” associate head coach Sam Catterson said.
