Mark your calendars – the Center for Career Readiness is ready to host a variety of events throughout the spring semester, ranging from site tours to mock interviews and more.
Most of the events require registration, so students should visit Handshake to reserve their spot. Here is a list of upcoming events:
- Feb. 11: The Professional Polish Series: The Art of Professional Engagement – Mock Interviews. 1 – 2:30 p.m. in 208 Thurston Hall. Food and refreshments will be provided and the event is cohosted by Preferred Mutual Professionals.
- Feb. 18: Mohawk Valley Health System will visit the Utica University campus to conduct scheduled interviews with nursing majors from 1 – 5 p.m. in the Hubbard Hall Innovation Cube. Registration is required through a form on Handshake.
- Feb 25: Preferred Mutual site visit (a maximum of 10 students). Registration through Handshake.
- March 4: Spring 2026 Job and Internship Career EXPO from 1 – 4 p.m. in the Clark Athletic Center Gym. This recruiting event allows students to network with top regional and national employers and learn about potential internships, part-time roles and full-time careers.

- March 25: Mohawk Valley Health System On-Site Tour from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. More information available soon.
- April 1: The Professional Polish Series: Professionalism That Accelerates Your Career. More information available soon.
- April 8: Pending career tour.
- April 15: Cyber security panel. Information will follow.
- April 22: Cyber security themed tour. Information will follow.
