If polishing your LinkedIn profile has been on your to-do list, then plan on registering for a LinkedIn workshop designed to build your brand and boost your career on Wednesday, Dec. 3 from 1 – 2:30 p.m. in 208 Thurston Hall. 

The event is open to all students and alumni and students must register through Handshake. It’s expected to be interactive and hands-on and aims to help attendees grow their network and stand out to employers.

During this workshop, students will learn how to create a polished and engaging LinkedIn profile, explore strategies for networking effectively and connecting with industry professionals, discover ways to highlight skills, experiences and career goals, gain insider insight into how recruiters use LinkedIn in the hiring process and receive personal feedback from the career readiness team. 

Free professional headshots, holiday treats and refreshments and a giveaway raffle will also be available.
