The Utica College women’s hockey team swept the Chatham Cougars with a 3-2 win Saturday afternoon.
Senior, Keira Goin posted another great game in between the pipes with 19 saves and only giving up two goals.

This win has put the Pioneers at an overall 6-6-1 ECAC conference record and an overall season record of 11-8-1. UC sits in sixth place in conference play.
The Cougars opened up the game with a goal seven minutes into the first period.

The Pioneers didn’t wait long to strike back as junior Taylor Osowski scored her seventh goal on the season and her second on the weekend. With a little over five minutes left in the second period, UC took the lead as senior Gabrielle Schneep netted her fourth goal of the year.

Chatham tied the game at two with less than two minutes left in the second. The game-winning goal came with 13 minutes left in the game when junior Meghan Power scored on a breakaway.

The Pioneers will look to keep their winning streak alive as they travel to Neumann University this Friday.
