Utica Men’s Basketball defended their home court on Tuesday, Dec. 2 by defeating SUNY Potsdam, 85-63. Dayion Thompson led the team on offense with an impressive 23 points, while Keyaton Parks recorded his first collegiate double-double with 15 points and team-high of 10 rebounds. Liam Teague was also a star player that Tuesday with 10 boards and seven blocks for his team.
The Pioneers started off strong by leading 22-8. At halftime they held the lead at 48-32. After the rest, the team continued to take an even larger lead, including a highlighted dunk by Parks. Ryan McCardle aided the team to secure the win with a few threes in the end.
Utica is now 5-1 on the season and will face Hamilton College at home on Tuesday, Dec. 9 at 7pm on Miga Court.
