The Philadelphia Eagles and Kansas City Chiefs are set to play in Super Bowl 2025 on Sunday, Feb. 9 at Caesar’s Stadium in New Orleans. Will the Eagles fly to victory or will the Chiefs make history by winning three years in a row?
Here’s what some Utica University students have to say:
“The Chiefs: I think the Chiefs are a better team. The NFL is scripted so they’re going to get the three-peat,” said Matt Alicea, a junior at Utica.
“I’m rooting for Philadelphia because I’m a Bills fan and I don’t like the Chiefs. They’ve taken us out of the playoffs for five years now,” said Anthony Leotta, a junior cyber security student. “I believe that Kansas City is the most fraudulent team in the NFL.”
“The Chiefs because I don’t know much about the Eagles,” freshman Jarrod Scroggs said.
“I honestly don’t care who wins, but it’s probably written that the Chiefs are going to win just for the three peat,” freshman Alex Roberts said. “But the Eagles might pull through just to upset audiences and give change to the last two Super Bowls.”
“Will be a heartbreaker for Philadelphia Eagles fans,” said Marco Milankovic, a sophomore. “Throughout the season, the Chiefs have always found a way to win because of crazy calls by the referee. I think that’s gonna play a big factor in the game.”
“I’m not really rooting for either team to win,” said Ryan McCardle, a junior. “ I think it’s probably gonna be the Chiefs though. The refs have been on their side all year.”
“I’m rooting for the Eagles this year. People only care about the Chiefs for Taylor Swift right now,” sophomore Ava Natale said. “I love Taylor Swift but she’s a singer, she has nothing to do with football.”
“The Eagles have a decent shot at it and have done pretty well throughout the season,” senior and political science major Kyle Mitchell said. “I know there are a lot of Chiefs fans, but I think the Eagles have a good trajectory to win. That’s the team I’m rooting for.”
