The Unity Walk is an annual event that Utica University began in 2016 to honor the university’s values of inclusion, equity, and diversity. The entire university community joins to march together around the Utica campus during this event. The event demonstrates the shared goal of fostering a welcoming environment and how we are stronger together.
Students explained why they attended the event and what it means to them:
– “I decided to attend because I wanted to represent all the Latinas in the area and represent all the different cultures.” Leigha Soto ‘28
