It’s getting spooky in Central New York and many Halloween attractions and events are in full swing. Spanning from Utica, Rome, West Winfield and beyond, bring family and friends to enjoy some local scary and not-so-scary fun.
Cayo Industrial Warehouse of Horror (Final Season): Oct. 25, 26 and 27 from 6:30 – 10:30 p.m. at 530 Harbor Way, Rome. Located in an abandoned, hidden industrial warehouse, visitors walk through a post-apocalyptic haunted horror maze and escape room, which may not be suitable for children or some adults. Halloween at the Harp: Oct. 26 at the Celtic Harp, 805 Varick St., Utica. This event features DJs, drink specials and costume contests with different categories, including sexiest, scariest, funniest and best overall. A large heated tent will also be available. Pumpkin Junction: Open daily from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. through Oct. 31 at 2188 Graffenburg Rd., Sauquoit. As a family-friendly venue, visitors can enjoy a corn maze and bus ride through a corn field. Trick or Treat Street: Oct. 31 from 3 – 5 p.m. at Sangertown Square Mall in New Hartford. For those with children, this annual event is fun for costumed children 12 and under who visit stores in the mall and receive candy. Visit the Sangertown Square Mall website for more information.
